Following government guidance for the return to work of ‘close contact’ practitioners from April 12th, we are getting ready to welcome you back, or for the first time, to our dedicated centre. We have put in place all necessary hygiene and safety measures in order to offer practitioners and their clients a covid-safe environment. Most of our teachers have received their first dose of the vaccine.
The Alexander Technique is a process of re-education in which the teacher, through verbal instruction and very gentle touch, guides the pupil into the theoretical and practical experience of this unique method. This, of course, means that social distancing won’t be possible and that physical contact will be part of the experience.
If you would like to know more about what measures we have put in place or about the Alexander Technique in general, please don’t hesitate to contact us by email or phone. We will be delighted to speak to you.
If close contact is something that you are not ready for or can’t consider at this moment in time, there are resources and tips that we can share with you. Please visit our blog page where we have been publishing interesting and helpful information. You will also be able to find out more about what we are doing to support you on our facebook page, instagram and on twitter. You could learn about the Alexander Technique and prepare for the time when, with the invaluable input of the teacher’s hands, you will be able to fully experience what you have learned remotely.
Stay well, stay safe and stay positive.
