Alexander Technique and Covid-19

Could summer mean a slower spread of COVID-19?The Bloomsbury Alexander Centre closed its doors to the public on March 13th 2020, responding to government guidelines for social distancing. The Alexander Technique is a process of re-education in which the teacher, through verbal instruction and  very gentle touch, guides the pupil into the theoretical and practical experience of this unique method. This is, of course, impossible to deliver under the present circumstances. However, we would like to invite you to contact us for information on how to find out more about the Alexander Technique  during this lockdown. Many  Alexander Technique teachers are using their expertise to find ways to  reach out to the general public to offer  support during these difficult times.

There are resources and tips that we can share with you. Please visit our blog page where we will be publishing interesting and helpful information. You will also be able to find out more about what we are doing to support you on our facebook page,  instagram and on twitter. You could learn about the Alexander Technique and prepare for the time when, with the invaluable input of the teacher’s hands, you will be able to fully experience what you had learned remotely.

Stay well, stay safe and stay positive.
