Our four-week introductory evening course takes place on Wednesdays from 7:15 – 8:45 p.m. This course is designed to give a grounding in the fundamentals of the Alexander Technique and provides an ideal introduction for those new to the Technique.
Each course is limited to four participants. The small group size means that each participant benefits from some personal attention and hands-on work from the teacher.

This one-off session is designed to help you use the technique to address stress. Sessions take place at regular intervals on Tuesday evenings from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m.
The complex nature of everyday life, with its constant demands, is mirrored in our own nervous system. The feeling of constantly just catching up creates a sense of never being able to switch off. We can become overstimulated and stressed.
If you have tried before to address your stress but you feel that something is missing, you can try a different strategy with the Alexander Technique, a mind-body approach to wellbeing that can help you change the way life demands are experienced. You can learn to give yourself time and space to change your responses. Come and learn to integrate your mind and body in psychophysical unity, to counteract stress and anxiety.
After this session, you can discuss with the teacher how best to follow up if you wish to continue exploring the Alexander Technique.

The de-stress session can also be provided as an individual session on request and by appointment at a cost of £75
