INTRODUCTORY EVENING COURSE

Our four-week introductory evening course takes place on Wednesdays  7:15 – 8:45 PM. This course is designed to give a grounding in the basic fundamentals of the Alexander Technique and provides an ideal introduction for those new to the Technique. Each course is limited to *four participants*. Please contact us for the next available dates

*Important Notice:  In 2023 and for as long as covid and flu infection rates continue to be of concern, we will be offering only two places on our evening courses in order to provide a safe ratio of room space to number of participants. The charge for the course during this time will be £120 per person.*

HELP YOURSELF DE-STRESS WITH THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

This one-off session takes place Tuesdays 7.15 – 8.00 PM.

The complex nature of everyday life with its constant demands is mirrored in our own nervous system. The feeling of constantly just catching up creates a sense of never being able to switch off. We can become overstimulated and stressed.
If you have tried before to address your stress but you feel that something is missing you can try a different approach with the Alexander Technique, a mind-body approach to wellbeing that can help you change the way life demands are experienced. You can learn to give yourself space and time to change your responses. Come to learn to integrate your mind and body in psychophysical unity to counteract stress and anxiety.
This is a one-off session designed to demonstrate how the Technique can help to address stress. After this session, you can discuss with the teacher how best to follow up if you wish to continue exploring the Alexander Technique.
