David Carey

 

David Carey is an internationally recognised voice, text and dialect teacher and coach.

 

A voice teacher for over 40 years, most recently David was a resident voice and text director at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He has been a senior voice tutor at RADA and was previously Principal Lecturer of Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

 

He is co-author of The Vocal Arts Workbook + Video (2008), The Dramatic Text Workbook and Video (2018), and The Shakespeare Workbook and Video (2015), all published by Bloomsbury Methuen Drama.
